Freshmen, Gail Sommers and her best friend, Martha Greene were giggling away as they watched the computer nerd of their class wearing a pair of thick eyeglasses that had a black rimmed square frame, passed clumsily and awkwardly by them. And Peter Paul was very aware of this. The more he knew that THE ‘GIRLS' were looking at him (and what's worse was that he knew that they were laughing at him), the more he became clumsier and more awkward with his actions. He always wished that the bell would ring so that he could run away from these nasty classmates of his. He hated them. He felt so upset that eventhough he was the brain-student of the class, he was entirely not sociable because he was fully conscious of his weird looks - well, at least what he was made to think his looks seemed like to others.
